Every website has a unique address called a domain name or url. This is the address your visitors use to find your website. A carefully chosen domain name can help your website be remembered and have a great impact on your ranking in major search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing.
Your website needs a place to live, where all the files that make up your website hang out, this is usually on a hosting companies server. Like any industry, there are good and bad companies, servers, and hosting plans. Things to take into account is the location of the server - Australia or overseas, the servers reliability, customer service - can you talk to someone when needed, and ultimately price.
The content on your website will need to be updated every now and then. I am able to code your website so that you can update the content and images yourself whenever you need to. Alternatively, if you prefer to send the information to me and I update your website, that can be arranged as well at a small hourly rate.
For the fellow designers out there, I offer a (x)html/css coding service converting your Photoshop designs into fully functioning and search engine friendly websites - no table layouts here. All coding is cross browser compatible and you will be provided with screen grabs of your website seen in all the major browsers such as Internet Explorer 7 & 8 (IE6 upon request), Safari, Firefox and Firefox.
Another little service for the fellow designers, Email newsletters can be very tricky to code correctly to ensure successful viewing in all the major email clients.
